Furnishing a conference hall with furniture and equipment is better to plan in advance, carefully and accurately, and the construction project of the conference hall should be divided into stages, in which certain work will be carried out. All this will save you from such inconveniences as laying of forgotten cable tracks over laminate or linoleum (for example in a box) or undercutting with already finished finishing and other quite often funny installation problems.

After the approval of the list of equipment and scheme of its installation should be familiarized with the specifications of the used interfaces. This will give an understanding of how long cables can be used and how to properly place them. Some interfaces can work through special extenders, while others can only work through special cables. Based on this, you can optimally distribute and prepare by construction work places for laying cables. Hidden commutations are one of the main indicators of the quality of equipment integration.

Cameras and video
When there is an understanding of exactly where in the room the furniture (and hence the audience of the conference hall) will be located – at the same time it will be clear where the cameras need to be placed and how many of them are needed to get the best image. In large conference halls, as a rule, one camera captures the general plan, and the rest – close-ups of the delegates’ speakers. If a little imagination and ingenuity, one PTZ-camera will be enough. The most important thing is to check all possible camera positions and make sure that there are no objects blocking the view, as well as light sources that can light up the frame, and other interference.

As for the placement of TVs, video walls or interactive panels, everything is much simpler: it should be convenient for the participants of the conference to read the information from the display. If one display is not enough due to the shape of the room or its dimensions, duplicate displays or video walls of a larger diagonal are installed. When mounting, do not forget that even the thin modern displays have a lot of weight, so you should think about secure ways to fix them.

Acoustic “nuances”
Sound in conferences is the main carrier of information, and it is necessary to ensure its accurate and clear transmission.
There are noises in any room: papers rustling, air conditioner humming etc. They are habitual and unnoticeable for a person, but the usual acoustic equipment amplifies them on a par with the voice and even louder. In addition, there are many different acoustic phenomena to get rid of – feedback (when the sound from the speakers is captured by the microphone again), echo effect, different distance between the speaker and the microphone. All these problems can be eliminated by using special equipment. Devices developed for conferences have mechanisms for suppressing all possible interferences:

Echo effect;
Noise;
Acoustic feedback;
Weak audibility.

When equipping large conference rooms, we recommend that you start with an acoustic calculation of the room.
